If you're in Phoenix and on the hunt for a breakfast spot that transcends the usual fare, look no further than Original Breakfast House. Nestled at 13623 N 32nd St, this quaint diner has been captivating locals and visitors alike with its laid-back, beach-themed atmosphere—complete with palm trees and surfboards that instantly put you in a relaxed, sunny mood.

As you step inside, the inviting ambiance sets the stage for a delightful culinary experience. The positivity is palpable, matching the bright decor and friendly service. Regular patrons rave about the phenomenal service, with many highlighting the attentive and warm demeanor of the staff. One customer, Melissa Murray, couldn’t help but express her delight, calling her server Molly “phenomenal” while emphasizing that the food is delicious and well worth any wait.

The menu is a dream for any breakfast enthusiast, featuring standout offerings like the scrumptious Guadalajara Eggs Benedict, recommended by many returning diners. Mike Thole described it as “just amazing,” and it’s easy to see why—every dish is rich with flavors that dance on your palate. If pancakes are your passion, you simply cannot miss their renowned lime pancakes, which have received rave reviews for their fluffy texture and zesty flavor, described by Geetanjali Khatri as “the best pancakes ever.”

Don’t forget to try their freshly squeezed orange juice, a specialty of the house that Mike Riccitelli insists is life-changing. While some may find the pulpy consistency a surprise, it adds to the experience of enjoying juice that tastes as if it were just squeezed that morning. The variety of dishes ensures there's something for everyone, whether you're a fan of traditional French toast or adventurous omelet creations.

It’s worth noting that Original Breakfast House operates on a cash-only basis, but rest assured, there is an ATM inside. This minor inconvenience has not deterred loyal customers like Erik Gibson, who have come to appreciate the consistent quality of food and atmosphere every single visit. After all, delicious food and great company are what truly define a memorable dining experience.

So, if you're ready to elevate your breakfast game, gather your crew and make a trip to the Original Breakfast House. You will leave satisfied, maybe with a few new favorite dishes, and definitely with plans to return. Don’t forget your cash—and the enthusiasm for a one-of-a-kind breakfast adventure!

Small wait in the beginning but definitely worth it! Molly was phenomenal and the food was delicious! Cash only, but no fee atm inside. Love the beach theme, palm trees & surfboards! Will be back

Absolutely amazing I don’t like to score things at 10, but their food averages 8 to 9 easily And if you want to taste orange juice, that’s a solid tin. There is no better than the original breakfast house. You just have to go out of your way to try this place. It is life-changing.

BE AWARE THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. Came here because it kept popping up on our search for best breakfast in Phoenix. The food was great. Quick service even on a Saturday morning, but having to run to an ATM up the road is super annoying. Let lime pancakes were great. My kids didn’t love the pulpy orange juice, but they haven’t had a lot of fresh squeezed. Overall would recommend. Just had to take away a star for the only cash.

Thank you to Google for suggesting this place. I was searching for a good breakfast place and this place popped up. I reviewed the menus, prices, reviews and decided to give them a try, I am so happy I did. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. I ordered a carnitas dish and regular french toast. My husband ordered the Popeye omelet, he loved it and ate everything on that plate! The French toast was bomb dot com! There is a bananas foster french toast and a key lime pie french toast we will try the next time we go here. The carnitas dish was great and had alot of good flavors going on, it was a large portion and I was not able ro finish it all, i recommend trying it. I will return to eat here again next time I'm in town!

I have been to Original Breakfast House many times, and I have had a great experience every time. Sometimes I have come by myself, while other times I have come here with some of my closest friends. When I was looking at some of the best breakfast restaurants in the Phoenix area, Original Breakfast House was on the list. Thus, I decided to try it out. The owner, John, is a fantastic gentleman who cares about everyone having a great experience in his restaurant. Every time I walked up to the building, he was there to greet me with a warm smile. When I asked him if they had ATMs, since the establishment was cash-only, he directed me to where they could be found within the building. One of the ATMs is found to the right once you enter the building, and another is found near the restrooms in the back. The other staff members are great as well. They are always helpful and ensure you have everything you need, offering anything extra if you need it. The food is fantastic. One of my favorite items on their menu is their El Paso omelette. It is one of the best omelettes I have ever had. Everything tastes fresh, and the omelette is full of flavor. I also like their hash browns, fresh, fluffy biscuits, and their drink selection. Another omelette I like is the Popeye omelette. I also like how delicious their baked goods at the front of the restaurant look once you enter. Next time I stop by, I will have to make sure I give them a try. I also appreciate the pleasant atmosphere. It is a nice classic diner atmosphere that takes you back in time. The ATMs also do not have any fees, which is a huge bonus. If anyone is looking for a great breakfast place to kick-start their day, Original Breakfast House is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Just amazing. As a fan of Egg's Benedict I had to get the Guadalajara. My son got the El Pastor Hash. These were our server's recommendations and she was spot on! A little spendy for breakfast, but no complaints really! (Cash only)

Best pancakes ever. We also got to go gluten free burger and a side salad which was nice. They only take cash which is a bummer but they have an ATM inside the restaurant. We did Zelle which was another Option.
